Our Directors, Al & Jerome spent 5 weeks running a Hip Hop Collection Program in Looma Community, in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia. This program was designed to teach 4 separate year groups different Hip Hop dances to perform a their annual Christmas Concert.

We had the pleasure of teaching Kangaroos (Year 1/2), Goannas (Year 2/3/4), Emus (Year 4/5) and Barramundi (Year 6/7)!
Each week, we taught separate skills and dance moves to add to each performance piece and we were amazed at how keen our students were to learn!!

By the second week, every student in our Goanna class had perfected the 'Froggy Freeze' (pictured above) and were trying skills beyond their age and ability.

The 2017 Looma Christmas Concert was EPIC - the whole community came down to watch the concert and have dinner together while the kids performed and received their awards for the year - the school principal, Guy called it a Hip Hopping Christmas! Our classes absolutely rocked and we were so proud to see them perform.
